Interior Design – Meet Laurie
Designing the interior of your dream home can be just as important as the build itself. No matter how much experience you may have with decorating, having a professional to guide your choices ensures your vision comes to life seamlessly. At Johnson Darling Homes, we’re proud to provide our clients with complimentary interior design services to make the process enjoyable, stress-free, and truly customized to your lifestyle. From concept to completion, you’ll have a trusted design partner to help refine ideas, coordinate finishes, and ensure every detail reflects your personal style.
Laurie Skorge, who has been employed by our company for more than a decade, works closely with our homeowners to design their kitchens and bathrooms; to select cabinetry, lighting, tiles, appliances, and plumbing fixtures; and even to make decisions about paint choices.
A homeowner on Long Beach Island for more than twenty years, Laurie holds a marketing degree from Syracuse University and has attended classes in interior design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Laurie has also earned certificates in redesign and staging from real estate industry specialists. “I especially enjoy connecting with the homeowners to deliver their vision of their dream house,” says Laurie. “The looks on their faces when they first walk into their brand new beach house is what it’s all about for me. Laurie has worked on more than 100 homes for Johnson-Darling, and she couldn’t be prouder of the product our company produces.
